The LM380 is a power audio amplifier for consumer applications. In order to hold system cost to a minimum, gain is internally fixed at 34 dB. A unique input stage allows ground referenced input signals. The output automatically self-centers to one-half the supply voltage. The output is short circuit proof with internal thermal limiting. The package outline is standard dual-in-line. The LM380N uses a copper lead frame. The center three pins on either side comprise a heat sink. This makes the device easy to use in standard PC layouts. Uses include simple phonograph amplifiers, intercoms, line drivers, teaching machine outputs, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radio, small servo drivers, power converters, etc.

LED-Treiber für Spannungen von 6VDC bis 48VDC (75). Dimmbar mittels Potentiometer über PWM zwischen ca. 5% und 98% des maximalen Ausgangsstromes, welcher über den Sense Widerstand von 100mA bis 500mA eingestellt wird. Der PWM Generator wird vom LM3402 versorgt, weshalb hier nur CMOS Typen eingesetzt werden können. Die Versorgungsspannung, verpolgeschützt über eine Diode, kann über einen Kleinspannungsstecker max. 3A oder eine 2-polige Klemme zugeführt werden. Eine Weiterleitung der Versorgungsspannung zu weiteren Einheiten kann über die Klemmen erfolgen, so dass bei einer RGB Anlage nur ein Zuleitungsstecker benötigt wird. Die LED werden über eine 2-polige Klemme angeschlossen. Somit können an einem Ausgang bis zu 14 LED in Reihe versorgt werden, dies jedoch nur bei 48VDC Versorgung. Bei Spannugen über 36VDC muß die Schaltung jedoch direkt mit dem Netzteil verbunden werden, da mögliche Induktionspanngen beim Anschluss eines hochgefahrenen Netzteiles das Regel IC zerstören könnten.
